My Lockbox is a simple application that can hide a folder and its files from view. No system or person will be able to view the hidden folder even if the program is uninstalled. It´s easy to use and has no size limitation on the protected folders, but for the available space on disk.
From the installation window you can set the lockbox folder location and a password. After the setup, the lockbox will remain hidden and locked until the valid password is entered.
You can perform quick actions using the tray icon. Open the lockbox protected folder, write the password to unlock it, and then drop the files that you need to hide. From within the Control Panel you can change a number of basic settings such as: lockbox location, protection status, password, name and other options. As a plus, the interface, though not very handy, is skinnable and enables users to change its looks.
Recently this company has launched its latest and final version, encouraging the clients to purchase Hidden Files 2009 which is worth looking into because it is a better and more complete version of My Lockbox. |
